Certified Tutor

I am in my twelfth year of teaching. I spent 11 years in first grade and I am currently teaching kindergarten. I received my bachelors degree from Towson University in Elementary Education. I received my masters degree from Loyola University in literacy and am a certified reading specialist. I am also certified in elementary and early childhood education. I recently completed the Orton Gillingham training as well. I really enjoy working with students in K-2 and getting them prepared for school by teaching them the strategies to succeed. I have experience tutoring primary student, K-2, in all subject areas. I have experience tutoring upper elementary school students, 3-5, in reading/reading comprehension. My passion is reading and finding ways to get students inspired to read. I really want students to be able to find a love for reading.
