Certified Tutor

Although I have been a college professor for many years, my current interests is gaining more experience in one-on-one tutoring for younger students. I am conducting a research on AI applications to teaching, where computer apps serve as active teachers that adapt to each individual's ability and learning style. The tutoring work, therefore, not only help current students, but also provide valuable input for creating teaching apps that help many more in the future.
I have a Ph.D in physics and a master in electrical engineering. After I worked in industry for a number of years, I decided to become college professor. Over these years, I have taught math, physics and computer programming. I enjoy face-to-face discussion with students and what I feel most rewarded personally is whenever I am able to help a student overcome an obstacle in a challenging problem.
