Certified Tutor

I am currently in my sophomore year at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I am currently studying to be a civil engineer. I have tutored many of the kids throughout high school and I now take pride in tutoring my fellow classmates. I tutor for a wide variety math classes such as geometry, trigonometry, algebra, precalculus, and calculus. One of the reasons I chose to study civil engineering was because I am so comfortable learning math and would like to continue that part of my education past high school.

Although I am very dedicated to my studies, I like spending time with my friends and family whenever I can. In high school, I was a dancer. I love ballet, tap, and pointe. Here at UIC, I play intramural soccer and flag football. Along with athletics, I am also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Due to my vast variety of experiences throughout college, I can relate to many possible struggles that students may encounter throughout their academic path. I have been able to help students overcome said obstacles, and like to incorporate these skills in my tutoring style. I will make sure you feel comfortable doing problems on your own and will work hard in order to get your confidence levels to a new high.
