My goal is to motivate and challenge students to understand and gain an appreciation for math. I taught middle and high school math. I bring excitement, energy, and enthusiasm to my tutoring sessions. I enjoy math because it is consistent and practical. Therefore, with the right teaching, concepts that were once strange, confusing and frustrating can become clear and easy. I get excited each time a student as a light bulb moment.

When I am not teaching or spending quality time with my family in the great outdoors, I enjoy conducting community health seminars and workshops. I like all things natural. I like to sew when I need a creative break. My new goal is to become fluent in Spanish. I love learning and teaching.
