Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Boston University and received my Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology. Currently, I'm an M.D. candidate set to graduate from medical school in May 2023.

I have an extensive history tutoring students since high school. My passion to educate comes from my personal struggles as well as my strong mentors who have guided me in my education. My experiences range from tutoring refugees, teaching summer school for grades 5-8, privately tutoring, working as a college tutor at UNCG and even tutoring medical students while a medical student myself! Although I've tutored in a variety of subjects, I absolutely enjoy teaching the sciences. I like to make sure my students understand concepts rather than trying to achieve a good grade on an exam (if you're learning, your grades will follow).

Something that I always like to remind my students is that you can't know/understand something if you aren't taught it. The reason I emphasize this is because I don't want my students to feel judged or intimidated to ask questions and so that they can get the most out of their learning. With that being said, I hope to become your tutor and meet you soon!
