Certified Tutor

I am a Columbia University student, majoring in English and minoring in Spanish. I am a lover of literature and an avid writer, and believe that finding something you're passionate about and skilled with is the best way to have lasting self-confidence. I am also a classical double-bass player taking lessons at The Juilliard School. I have experience both as an individual tutor, and as a classroom teacher, and I really try to work with a student's individualistic goals, to ultimately find tools to help them teach themselves. Some of my experiences include teaching music to students ages 4-16 in Ecuador, and working with the Police Athletic League in NYC, for their after-school music program. I believe that seeking tutoring is a sign of caring about your success and your personal growth, and I value that in every student.
