Getting to know how to teach requires getting to know the people you are working with.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Personality questionnaires, learning-style questions, and gathering their history, both personally and academically.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
Teach them to take the skills we use in sessions to homework and daily routines.
