What is your teaching philosophy?

Every child needs a champion; someone who will not give up on them even when they feel they have lost all hope. I believe there is an opportunity for students to become better in all aspects of their learning. Students need to develop a growth mindset and know they are able to grow in all areas.

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

During my first session with a student, I would spend time getting to know their learning style. We will review what some of my methods are and then get to work.
