Certified Tutor

I am a graduate from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studies in Cinema & Media Culture. I have a passion for film, writing, the Arts, and expression of any kind. My enthusiasm for expression also carries over into my love for helping others achieve a level of expression within themselves that they didn't know existed. This might include improved mental clarity, awareness to other schools of thought, assistance with blossoming ideas, or learning new concepts in a way that is easily digested. I have experience tutoring close family friends in the subjects of Math, Reading/Writing, and other homework help. My philosophy when it comes to helping others is to discover which way they learn best, and then adapt my teaching approach to cater to them. There is no way that success can be obtained in learning if a student's already stellar strengths aren't taken into account first. I believe that great patience, dedication, and positive reinforcement in coordination with my tactics described above, I can help any student achieve their academic goals.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, going to movies, hanging out in cafes, decorating my apartment, dreaming of new cities to visit, and observing my two quirky cats do adorable things such as sit like a human and watch television.
