Certified Tutor

I recently received my Masters of Business Administration with academic excellence from the University of South Florida. This is my second masters degree; my first was in Education. I also hold an engineering degree from a top Chinese university. I have rich experiences in tutoring students, from first graders to adults, in almost all subject areas including major test preparation. I enjoy tutoring all kinds of subjects ranging from Chinese, English, Writing, and GMAT preparation, to accounting and finance. My teaching philosophy is not only to pass knowledge on to my students, but also to build up their skill sets (essentially teaching them how to fish by giving them hands-on demonstrations of catching the fish). I have a wide range of interests, from all kinds of outdoors activities (such as bicycling, kayaking, boating, fishing, gardening, and water sports) to music, cooking and volunteering. I hope to make learning fun for each of my students by understanding their needs and learning traits.
