I recently graduated from the University of Florida with a major in Environmental Science and a minor in Agricultural and Natural Resource Ethics and Policy. I believe that children are the future. They must be well-educated so that they can become successful problem solvers and decision makers. As a tutor, I know that every student has their own learning style and it is important that we adapt to whichever way is easiest for them to understand the subject matter. I tutor Spanish and Mathematics. I truly enjoy teaching both of these subjects because I consider them both languages. I have loved math my whole life, and I hope to share that love for the subject with my students. As a native Spanish speaker, I believe it is important to become fluent in a second language, particularly in the United States. My hobbies include traveling, music, and simply being in nature.

What is your teaching philosophy?
Children are the future. We need to make sure that future generations are educated and can use their knowledge to improve our world. Every child has the ability to make a difference in this world. I believe every child is unique and should be taught in their own learning style. That way, every individual can succeed and feel excited to learn. The ability to embrace our differences, including learning styles and study habits, will bring peace and unity in this world.
