What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
I would love to get to know that student first by asking him some basic questions. In this way, I could get to know more about that student and also determine what level the student is at.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
During the lesson, I would teach them the knowledge first, and then I would ask them some questions. I would give them some time to figure the questions out by themselves. After that, we would go over the questions together.
