Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Harvard University, where I earned an Ed.M. I am also an alumna of Teach for America and George Washington University. I am a certified teacher and have experience working with students across a wide age range, from kindergarten through high-school. I love reading and writing and excel at teaching in these subjects. I have worked as an editor and have successfully coached a couple dozen students through the college essay writing process. I currently support a Harvard undergraduate in her writing intensive courses. I strive to bring gentleness and compassion to every tutoring session. I enjoy helping a student who may feel anxious or upset about an essay or reading task to feel confident and relaxed. It's wonderful watching the burden lift from their shoulders! Outside of work, I love stargazing, movies of all kinds, astrophysics, jogging, and Dr. Who!
