Timothy: Nassau County tutor
Certified Tutor
I am a graduate of the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in History. I am studying in a Juris Doctorate program at Seton Hall University Law School. I currently live in New York. Tutoring has been an important part of my life since college, when I tutored and mentored K-8 students in Math and Literacy at urban Los Angeles elementary and middle schools. I have also tutored students for the No Child Left Behind Act, as well as peers and students in Writing and the SAT. As a law student, my critical reading and writing skills are strong, and I can help students to be confident in these areas as well. I have also tutored Math and enjoy teaching Algebra and grade school math. My passion for tutoring is inspired by a strong desire to provide students with educational opportunities so that they can find and achieve their dreams through education. Personal hobbies include trying new foods, traveling, reading, and I thrive in social situations.
