Certified Tutor

I am currently studying Civil Engineering and Computer Science at Tufts University. Degree expected May of 2016. As the oldest of three siblings, I have spent a lot of time huddled around math and science textbooks, explaining concepts and helping my brother and sister see problems the way I do.

I believe strongly that the student gains nothing from the tutor who does their work for them, so I go out of my way to make sure each student understands that grasping the concepts is much more important than solving the individual problems.

Besides working with my siblings, I also have experience teaching swim lessons, volunteering in classrooms, and tutoring High School students.

My favorite subjects to teach are Math and Computer Science. Outside of academia I am interested in basketball and music production.
