I am a graduate of Benedictine University where I received a Bachelors in Science, concentrating in Biology and I have a Masters in Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, from Midwestern University. My thesis for my Masters focused on breast cancer and a gene that could be a potential tumor suppressor. Since I graduated, I have worked as an intern at Abbott Labs and I have tutored at for another private tutoring company. Although I tutored students from the age of 3 and up in Math and Reading, my true passion lies in Science, especially Biology and Chemistry. I believe every student has the capability to excel in the sciences and my goal is to ensure that they not only do well but also enjoy the process of learning and understanding the subject. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, traveling, learning languages and I am an avid sports fan and enjoy football, soccer as well as F1 racing.
