The student and I spent the session going through part of a practice test from an official SSAT book. First I timed her doing a writing section, and we determined she needs to have a clear outline before writing. We then went through the first math section, and I corrected any mistakes and reminded her of any strategies. We did some of the reading passages as well. I also reminded her of strategies there.

I reviewed grades and progress from school with student. We also continued to review basic multiplication and addition facts. The client is making some progress with math goals. However, she still needs more repetition and practice with least common multiples, multiplication facts and division.

Covered first half of muscle lecture slides for upcoming exam. Studied muscles of the head and neck, abdominal muscles, thoracic limb muscles, clarification of muscle movement, and origin and insertion. Progressed in finding a way to tackle a large amount of information on animal anatomy.
