It was such a pleasure to meet the student and her father today! In our first session, we began with Latin pronunciation and the conjugation of the verb "esse - to be." We then moved on to the declension of first and second declension nouns, giving particular attention to second declension nouns ending in -ius / -ium. She made quick and excellent progress, especially with memorization of forms. I provided her with nouns to practice during the week, and sent the client additional resources by email after the session.

The student and I covered the basics of factoring polynomial expression. With a bit of practice, he will surely get it. He was very honest and let me know when and where he had trouble in the subject. I gave him some help with the basics, and he definitely took off after a bit of practice. I think with lots of extra practice, catching up on the concepts he missed could be a breeze.

Today we continued working on rhyming words to expose the student to new letter/ sound combinations. We also read a couple of stories together, with me reading to her so that she can hear how the words should be pronounced.
