I am majoring in Psychology. Psychology combines my aptitude in math and science with my love of people.

I am also a former Spanish teacher, living in Texas is like a dream - it's so easy to speak and learn Spanish in the Dallas-Fort Worth area (although I hear quite a bit of French here, too!) Any French or Spanish students are bound to find ample opportunities to practice their new language skills.

I'm a graduate of Elon University in North Carolina. I studied international relations with an emphasis in Latin American studies. While in college, I was lucky enough to travel to 7 countries, and I have a huge appreciation for culture, travel and taking photographs along the way. After graduation, I taught ESL to high school students, helped start an education non-profit, and coordinated tutoring efforts for Title I low income schools for the Tucson region.

I am a graduate of Texas A and M University - College Station with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Early Childhood-6th) and a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Gig 'Em! I am currently a 3rd Grade Math teacher and absolutely LOVE what I do! I have over 8 years of experience working with children through substitute teaching, working in extended day, tutoring, student teaching and now having a classroom of my own.

I am currently pursuing my master's in education at the University of Oregon. I am a student teacher for mid/high school social studies and English.

I am a high school math teacher in Texas. I teach Calculus, Algebra, and SAT Math.

I'm highly orientated in the teaching of math and diverse sciences. Also as a lover and avid reader of Latin-American culture, I feel strongly attracted to the teaching of Spanish. Being these two areas: Math and Spanish, where I've specialized during the last 8 years as tutor.

I am a certified bilingual veteran educator looking to support and champion learning and personal growth in students that need and desire it.

I am strongly committed to bringing students to mastery. To accomplish this, I thought it was important that I am trained and educated extensively in this field. This is why I have obtained not only a Bachelor's degree in education, but I have obtained a Master's degree as well. Even with the most thorough training, mastering academics cannot be achieved without creating a welcoming space for learning friends.
