I am currently taking the USMLE exams in order to do my residency in Internal Medicine. I have worked as a medical assistant as well as volunteered in different hospitals in New York and New Jersey. I'm an educator transitioning from higher ed to high school teaching. I earned my PhD in sociology at Columbia University, where I also worked as an instructor, at the School of International and Public Affairs.
