I have a bachelor of science in forensic biochemistry and a bachelor of arts in anthropology from the University of Central Florida. I have worked at UCF Academic Services for Student-Athletes assisting student-athletes in college-level courses related to chemistry, biology, genetics, history, and anthropology. I am most passionate about chemistry and biological anthropology as my master's research is related to the application of chemistry to human osteology. I am a firm believer that anyone can become an expert in a discipline as long as they are given the proper tools to learn that topic.

Hello Students, I'm Dan Radicia. I am a lover of all things humanities, be it history, economics, psychology, anthropology, philosophy or anything else in that area. Former debater/mock trial competitor for any of you involved in that too.I'm finishing up a bachelor's of science in history with a minor in economics, so I would call history and econ my strengths.I like to think the thing I'm best at is helping people understand ideas by meeting them where they're at and speaking their language.

I'm a graduate student and part-time college faculty member in the Phoenix area, but I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I recently moved to Arizona after working as a tutor abroad and am keen to continue tutoring here in my new home. Though I've tutored a wide range of subjects (standardized test prep, French, English, and History, to name a few), the sciences and math are my favorites. I genuinely love the sciences, especially Biology, and I think that this passion and enthusiasm make a real difference while tutoring. I began causally tutoring family friends in high school, and over the years I've worked with students of varied backgrounds -- from those re-taking failed classes to those applying to (and being accepted at) the best universities. I'm proud to say that I've helped all my students reach their goals, frequently pushing them to exceed their expectations. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors and exploring all that Arizona has to offer -- it's so different from the east coast that I just can't get enough of it! I also like taking my telescope out into the desert to try my hand at amateur astronomy and photography, experimenting in the kitchen, and cycling. When I'm not out and about, I can frequently be found curled up with a good book or cheering on my favorite soccer team.

I completed a bachelor's degree in psychology at Sweet Briar College, along with a minor in statistics. Afterwards I was accepted to the California School of Professional Psychology, where I completed a Master's degree in clinical psychology and completed several years of doctoral work. I completed advanced courses in statistics and data analysis, as well as neuropsychology. I have published several articles in the areas of multicultural psychology and neuroimaging meta-analysis. My philosophy in tutoring is to take complex concepts and make them simple and easy to understand for my students. For every student, my goal is to increase their confidence in class, their grasp of the material, and to show them studying techniques that will help them succeed in future courses.

I am a graduate of Drew University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. I minored in French and Black Studies, which are two subjects I love dearly. I was recently accepted into a PhD program to obtain my doctorate in Sociology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign! I will continue my studies there during this upcoming academic year. My previous research, mentorship and tutoring experiences give me confidence that I can help you and thrive in your studies. I have been a mentor in various high school and undergraduate organizations since I was a sophomore. My experience as an academic coach and a tutor in the University Library helped me learn patience and numerous strategies to help students succeed in their studies. I believe tutoring is an expansive experience. Both the tutor and client learn and grow in every session. We increase our knowledge in times of challenge, and I view my role as a tutor is to make room for clients to strengthen their skills. I enjoy helping clients of all ages and have experience in working with all students. One of my favorite things to help clients with is cultivating study and organizational strategies. Having those two things in place help the client maintain their studies.During my time in undergrad, I studied abroad in France, Martinique and Puerto Rico. I volunteered over 100 hours of service each year as a student volunteer on campus and in the surrounding community. I was a part of many leadership organizations, especially those that helped first-year students acclimate to the university. I enjoy helping those rise to their fullest potential and find the best way to do so is through mentorship and tutoring.
