I have a bachelor of science in forensic biochemistry and a bachelor of arts in anthropology from the University of Central Florida. I have worked at UCF Academic Services for Student-Athletes assisting student-athletes in college-level courses related to chemistry, biology, genetics, history, and anthropology. I am most passionate about chemistry and biological anthropology as my master's research is related to the application of chemistry to human osteology. I'm a graduate student and part-time college faculty member in the Phoenix area, but I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I recently moved to Arizona after working as a tutor abroad and am keen to continue tutoring here in my new home. Though I've tutored a wide range of subjects (standardized test prep, French, English, and History, to name a few), the sciences and math are my favorites. I genuinely love the sciences, especially Biology, and I think that this passion and enthusiasm make a real difference while tutoring. I completed advanced courses in statistics and data analysis, as well as neuropsychology. I have published several articles in the areas of multicultural psychology and neuroimaging meta-analysis. My philosophy in tutoring is to take complex concepts and make them simple and easy to understand for my students. For every student, my goal is to increase their confidence in class, their grasp of the material, and to show them studying techniques that will help them succeed in future courses.

I am a current student at Cornell University studying Design + Environmental Analysis and Urban and Regional Studies.I am a creative thinker and really enjoy helping students develop their skills in writing, reading, and text analysis. However, I certainly have a broad range of interests and offer tutoring in English, Literature, Physics, World History, and Economics.
