I am currently a first year medical student at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. In 2020, I graduated with Magna Cum Laude and Honors with a Bachelor in Science in Biology from Texas Christian University. Along with my Biology major, I minored in Chemistry, Spanish for the Health Professions, and Cultural Awareness in Health and Healthcare. I am passionate about learning, which is one of the reasons I enjoy tutoring and helping other students learn. My tutoring style is tailored to each student, but I find that the best way to teach is to explain the concept, answer questions, and then have the student explain the concept back to me in order to ensure they retain the knowledge.
