I am a graduate of the University of Dubuque. I received my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology. I have been tutoring various math and science courses for the last 3 years. I come from a long line of educators and love working with students of all ages to expand their understanding of subjects I am passionate about. Most of my tutoring experience is with high school and college students. The subjects I tutor best are algebra, general chemistry, organic chemistry, and general biology. I am a Mechanical Engineer. I earned my BSc. degree in Mechanical Power Engineering in 1985. I have been practicing Mechanical Engineering for more than 30 years. Mechanical and Electrical Engineering are the most two departments of the Engineering school that use Algebra and Calculus in almost every course of study.I started my tutoring career 20 years ago, helping my own children and their friends study Math and score high grades. I master teaching Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Refrigeration, HVAC, and Mechanical Engineering to middle and high school and undergraduate students.Engineering taught me precision and patience. I am also highly organized, have a positive impact on my students and can adapt my teaching style to suit all levels of ability.

After graduating with my master's degree, I returned home to my beautiful twin island country in the Caribbean, Antigua and Barbuda. I then started my career in the field of Information Technology. I worked for a few years as a Systems Analyst for one of the largest Resort on the island. I then worked for a number of years as a Project Manager with the Information Technology Department for the Government of Antigua and Barbuda. While working at these two places, I also taught at the University of the West Indies as a Local Tutor. In 2017, my family and I moved to Florida, in the United States. Since moving to Florida, I have been working for the Orange County Public Schools as a Computer Education Teacher. I am also employed as an Adjunct Professor at Valencia College with the Computer Science Department. I love teaching and am a firm believer that education is important to everyone in order to improve knowledge, ways of living and their social and economic status. When I am not educating, I spend my time with my family and just enjoying life as much as possible.
