Tutoring review by Jessica in Lynden, WA
The student had a great session today. His materials were organized. There were no loose papers in his backpack, which was a huge improvement. We were quickly able to make his "to do list" and check PowerSchool for any missing assignments, of which there was only one remaining in Chemistry. He finished up an assignment for Comp. Sci. before we dove into reviewing last night's math homework. During the review, I put more of the onus on him to write and correct and also had him explain the process multiple times prior to moving on to new types of polynomial factoring. He was significantly more invested in learning and using the strategies we worked on today, and I am confident that he will be better able to apply them in the future.
