I am passionate about education, learning, teaching, and specifically literatures and languages. I have experience as an ESL teacher for young children and teens, as well as experience working as a Writing Consultant at my undergraduate institution. I also spent all four years of my undergraduate career volunteering as an SAT tutor for local high schoolers. Beyond this, I have experience both as a private and public Spanish tutor. I love to help students reach their educational and personal goals in any way that I can.

I am available to tutor middle and high school math, history and test prep. I have tutored math and history in the past and I previously taught a test prep course at a school in Hanoi, Vietnam. I am an experienced tutor specializing in one-on-one SAT test prep. I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, earning a bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology with College Honors, and I am currently working toward my PhD. I have been tutoring for six years, working for well-known test prep companies in addition to volunteering for nonprofit educational organizations around the world. I offer SAT test prep, AP test prep, and academic tutoring in English, History, and Social Studies. I also offer assistance with academic essays, college admissions essays, and college applications.

I am a current student at Yale University pursuing a degree in English. Since I was little, writing and storytelling has been one of my biggest passions. Though back then, I often told stories to my friends and family as though they were truth, once they helped me find the page I've had much, much more success. I have been tutoring kids since I was in high school, but I've also spent many hours working with kids on the baseball diamond as a coach, as well as as a camp counselor. My philosophy is that I know how hard and difficult (and sometimes annoying) high school English and History classes can be, and my goal is to try and bring a little fun back into the material while making sure we do what it takes to master your craft as a budding young writer, whether in a rhetorical analysis of Pride and Prejudice or in your CommonApp personal essay.

I am in New York City studying acting, and I want to bring the same energy, enthusiasm and compassion that is required on stage to my students. I have experience tutoring for the SATs, and I have had significant experience serving as a mentor to younger students, particularly in the university setting. I love coaching and helping students discover their intellectual passions. Most importantly, I am thrilled by the prospect of helping a student set concrete goals and progress towards actualizing them in an academic realm. I am currently a student at Stanford University studying math and political science. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with younger students. I have helped students of different ages and from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, and so I am very conscious of the needs and prior knowledge my students and tailor my tutoring method and style individually.

I am currently an undergraduate at Johns Hopkins University working towards a degree in Biomedical Engineering. One of the most rewarding aspects tutoring is helping students arrive at that "Eureka" moment when the concept or idea they have been trying to understand suddenly clicks. I hope to be a mentor to students as I draw from my own experiences, having been in the same shoes not long ago. I enjoy tutoring all subjects, particularly math, physics, and biology.

I am a freshman at Caltech majoring in Applied and Computational Mathematics. My favorite subject to tutor is math because I find it very rewarding to simplify complex topics to aid in understanding. I have lots of tutoring experience. In high school, I ran and taught an SAT prep class and was vice president of my school's NHS chapter where I ran our tutoring program, and I, myself, tutored. I also was a teaching assistant in the summer of 2020 for a class in discrete mathematics through a program called PACT (Program in Algorithmic and Combinatorial Thinking). I love learning and hope to make the process enjoyable for you!

I am a student at Yale University and am pursuing a B.A. in Economics. I have experience tutoring various levels of math and am very passionate about furthering the understanding of students in this subject. I also have a lot of test taking strategies that I have implemented in my own academic life and the practical experience of successfully taking many standardized tests which makes me a great resource for the ACT and SAT.

I am a junior at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania studying Economics, Finance, and Business Analytics. For the last few years, I have been helping students with college application and test prep help, such as college essays, common app, and SAT/Subject SATs. I came from a high school where these resources for college and SAT prep were not as readily available, so I want to work towards making college more accessible by helping students with their application. Past students of mine have gotten into NYU, UMich, and Georgetown.
