I am a native Spanish speaker, born in Uruguay, South America. I have always loved the law and teaching, that is why I decided to become and Attorney at Law and to teach at the same time. While working towards my degree and long after graduating , I taught English at public high schools and tutored middle school students helping them with the language.

I am a Pre-med student at Arizona State University. I have been tutoring at the university for the last year, and it has been a blast! I tutor, general chemistry, organic chemistry, physics I, and some genetics. Organic chemistry is definitely my favorite subject to tutor. It was a challenging subject when I took it, but I really put my mind to it, worked my tail off and I received high marks in my courses. That's why I love it so much. I enjoy showing students that they can overcome difficult courses and challenges just like how I did, and it feels very rewarding to me.

I am a senior at ASU, majoring in Applied Biological Sciences with a concentration in Secondary Education in Biology. After I graduate in December, I hope to work as a high school biology teacher. My passion for biology developed in high school and I want to pass that love on to today's high school students.

I received my degree from Grand Canyon University in April 2025, which means I understand how nursing school and the NCLEX are today. In school, I was a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, as well as Alpha Chi National College Honor Society. I passed my NCLEX in 85 questions and now work in a mixed specialty ICU, where I take care of medical, surgical, neuro, and cardiovascular patients. As a dedicated tutor with a strong foundation in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, I have a passion for teaching complex subjects like Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Physics. Although my formal tutoring experience is limited, I have actively helped peers understand challenging material throughout my academic journey. My approach centers on identifying students' specific areas of confusion and building from there, fostering a supportive environment where they can thrive. I believe that teaching is most effective when students engage with the material actively, and I strive to make learning enjoyable and approachable. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing basketball, soccer, chess, and participating in engineering projects, which further enhances my problem-solving skills. My teaching philosophy can be described as a coaching style in which, like athletics, I believe learning the subject matter, good techniques, and constant practice are the best ways to achieving better scores.

I am especially committed to supporting first-generation college students, those for whom English is a second language, and working adults as they navigate the challenges of higher ed. Nevertheless, I have taught and mentored graduate students at Harvard and talented undergrads in a variety of disciplines and welcome helping with theses.
