I am a 2016 graduate from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and received my Bachelor of Science in Education and Human Sciences. My degree includes K-6 endorsements in Elementary Education and Special Education. I have taught elementary school for 5 years and love working with students to find their passion and to help them overcome academic challenges, as I truly believe learners can accomplish anything they set their mind to! As a working artist and art instructor with Prince George's Community College, I find tutoring adds variety and balance to my life. Two years ago I started volunteering at Greenbelt Cares tutoring program working with K-12 students and thoroughly enjoyed seeing them grow their skills and gain self confidence in math. At Varsity Tutors, I look forward to helping students succeed in Middle School Math and Algebra.

After graduating with a BA in English from the University of Dallas and a Master of Arts from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, I went on to teach classes of 6-11th grade students at Trivium Preparatory Academy for 3 years in English, Writing, and Math. I also tutored students individually for all sections of the SAT and ACT during my time there, and I have continued to do so for the past year with Varsity Tutors.
