I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in English Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Prior to returning to grad school, I taught middle school and high school English in Columbia, South Carolina for six years and middle school English in New Jersey for one year. I have also taught ISEE/SSAT prep. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I served my school as both the yearbook sponsor and as the lead mock trial coach for my competitive middle school team. I enjoy working with students on polishing their writing so it is publication ready!

I am a sophomore at Georgetown University studying Spanish and Justice and Peace Studies, working toward a Bachelor of Arts degree. I love having the opportunity to assist my peers or younger students in subjects like English, Spanish, and Linguistics due to my own personal love for learning, and my teaching style is very collaborative to allow students to feel comfortable and supported in their learning.
