I am an award-winning writer with 14 professionally-published stories, and I’m currently working on my third novel. I love to read epic fantasy novels like Lord of the Rings, but I also love any writing that’s well-crafted or makes you think, like Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451 or Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird.

I am currently in my last year of medical school at OU. I am preparing for a career as an emergency medicine physician. I enjoy being outside and going on hikes with my husband. I also like to wind down by baking and bingeing shows!

I am also certified to prepare students to take the College Board's AP French Language and Culture exam. My AP students have consistently earned 4s and 5s on this rigorous test. My favorite thing about teaching French is to meet a student with no knowledge of French and watch her/him go on to study in France, become fluent in the language and then take a degree in it. I love to inspire.
