I am not studying or reading for personal enjoyment, I am often either writing or sharing rich conversation. Having specialized in philosophy of art, I have a passion for music and visual art and am enlivened by the artistic culture of Oklahoma City.

I'm another life long learner. I strive to assist learning in social encounters. Growing up with a family of school teachers and public school professional development figures, I have developed an interest in tutoring, research, and writing. After tutoring for about two years with Upward Bound and years of part time work with the educational development organization ALCA, I am now researching and writing a book on online political discourse, and wish to work improving my ability to help others.

I am currently a Senior at the University of Oklahoma. I am majoring in Spanish and Political Science, with a minor in Philosophy. I am also a member of the Honors College. I am enthusiastic about education and I am a nerd for history, politics, and current events. In high school, surprisingly, my favorite subject was math, and I always thought I was going to be a math teacher. College, however, changed my mind when I fell in love with a Colonial History course and it changed my outlook on my future in education. I am a member of a book club, visit all types of museums, attend plays, and concerts. Another interest, antique shopping, whereas, I learn more about the item's origins and history. When spring arrives, I love to garden.
