I am a graduate of both Bryan College and Middle Tennessee State University. At Bryan, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Music: Communication Arts with a concentration in vocal performance. At MTSU, I received my Bachelor of Science in Recording Studio Management with a Production & Technology focus and minors in Electronic Music and Mass Communication.Upon graduation, I spent 10 years working at MorningStar Studios in suburban Philadelphia as as producer and recording engineer. I spent the next 10 years leading worship in several large churches in the Greater Philadelphia Area. Most recently, I worked remotely for The Online Recording Studio in London where I composed music and backing arrangements for singer/songwriters all over the world.While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Audio Production. Nearly everyone has access to outstanding tools to capture and share their creativity. Success is determined by how well you understand the fundamentals of signal flow, digital recording, and everything works together. I believe investing in education is the smartest invest that one can make.In my spare time, I enjoy making music in my home studio, playing with my kids, social media, and hanging with friends.

With 7+ years experience in the Marines, I have learned unique life skills and understand the nature of difficult circumstances. I am currently attending college at the University of Texas at San Antonio for Civil Engineering.Learning has not always been a walk in the park for me. Coming out of the military I had to reteach myself a lot of the skills I learned in high school; because of this, I can better relate to students who are having difficulties with course subjects. By tackling subjects with a multi faceted approach, and proper guidance, I believe any student can achieve his or her academic goals.I am especially interested in mathematics and the physical sciences and love helping those who struggle in these areas. Since graduation, I used to teach English as an EFL (English as a Foreign Language) overseas in a high school for three years. I currently work at Edmonds Community College, helping college and ESL students to register for the classes that they should take to get their Associate degree. While I teach English a broad, I am very passionate about the English language, American culture, and Literature. In my teaching experience-helping EFL students to acquire the English language skills, we have fun studying for the Grammar, Reading, and Writing portions of the class. I am patient, resourceful, hard working, and creative. I believe that tutoring helps students see things they weren’t aware of before and helps them be guided towards understanding what they need to do to accomplish proficiency levels.
