I earned my B.S. in Elementary Education with a Language Arts endorsement from Oakland University in Rochester, MI. Shortly after graduation I moved to Arizona to teach fourth grade. I taught an inclusive fourth grade classroom for four school years. In the classroom I was responsible for teaching all subjects (Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Health, and Social Studies). I was also responsible to help my students be prepared to take and pass the 4th grade AIMS standardized test. In addition to teaching I stayed after school to tutor students that were struggling in math and/or reading two times a week.During my third year of teaching I went back to school to earn my Master's degree. I have since graduated from Arizona State University with a Masters of Education with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis.
