I am a graduate from Oregon State University with two MA degrees,one in history and one English. I'm a graduate of CSUMB (California State University Monterey Bay) with a BA in Japanese Language and Culture. All classes were done exclusively in Japanese and my senior thesis was also done in Japanese. Furthermore, I have lived over a year and a half in Japan.

I am also available to tutor for GRE verbal, SAT and ACT reading and writing, and AP test prep. I'm a recent graduate of Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR where I double majored in Physics and in Math. I've taught classes at Lewis & Clark and tutored local high school kids. I love learning new things and helping other people do the same.

I am an experienced teacher with a passion for learning and love to see others enjoy it too. I have worked with students (mostly grades 4-8) in one-on-one, small group, and classroom situations, both in person and online. I have an interest in all subjects, as I am curious about many things. I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading (especially my Smithsonian magazines) which enriches my life, gardening, yoga, and exploring the outdoors.
