Haddonfield, NJ, has a population of about 11,600. The borough is in Camden County and only five miles east of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey border. With Philadelphia less than ten miles from town, Haddonfield is in the perfect position for a day trip. The town inspired the Halloween franchise's town name because co-writer Debra Hill grew up in Haddonfield.

Haddonfield Memorial High School serves the town as a member of the Haddonfield Public Schools District. The High School is ranked 15th in the state, which could give students an edge over their competition, but it is important to remember to stay on top of your studies nonetheless. One way to potentially improve on that important exam is by connecting with a private Haddonfield tutor who has both in-home and online tutoring experience in instruction for test prep. Skilled in-person or online Haddonfield tutors might help students get ahead in their courses or test prep with one-on-one tutoring sessions. A good college option for those hoping to stay local is the University of Pennsylvania. The college ranked ninth in the nation, which may make it difficult to gain admittance. Private instruction and test prep from tutors in Haddonfield, NJ, through either online or in-home tutoring, could provide a chance to get into elite schools.

You can take a break from studying every now and then to explore Haddonfield. The town has many beautiful parks and sights for you to visit. Spend some time at Newton Lake Park, a large plot of land that runs around the Newton Lake. The park has nearly three miles of biking, walking, or jogging paths, and multiple locations for fishing. Fishermen can enjoy fishing at most parts of the lake, but a few piers are also provided to enhance your fishing experience. The park is equipped with a Matrimony Garden, which makes for a beautiful place for photos or a wedding ceremony.

Another great park to visit is the Pennypacker Park. The park has several bodies of water, including Cooper River, Hopkins Pond and Driscoll Pond. The park is listed on New Jersey's Register of Historic Places because it is the discovery place of the world's first nearly complete dinosaur skeleton. The hadrosaurus skeleton was found in 1858, and a small commemorative plaque stands tribute in the park.

Once you've explored the local parks, make sure you're achieving the best grades possible. One-on-one tutoring in Haddonfield, NJ, can potentially help you do well in your classes and exams.

Calvin had his finals last week, so his classes haven't started much new material. However, in history, the class will be learning about World War I in the coming section, so we spent the hour going over the causes and alliances. He was interested in the groupings of countries.

Questions involved factoring trinomials, finding the vertex of a parabola, exponential growth of a population, box and whisker plots and their quartiles, and writing an equation for the area of certain shapes by breaking it up into smaller shapes. Student 2 - Worked on Geometry practice tests from the booklet. Started working on the 3rd test in it. Questions involved using the midpoint formula, the distance formula, area of a circle, tangents and secants angles, central angles and inscribed angles in a circle, properties of a rhombus, area and perimeter of a triangle, simplifying radicals, etc. Definitions, a centroid is the intersection of 3 medians of a triangle; a orthocenter is the intersection of 3 altitudes of a triangle.

Tutoring review by Reyanna in Haddonfield, NJ
Today the student and I reviewed her homework. It was multiplying and dividing exponents and coefficients. She did very well and only had a few hiccups here and there. All in all, she really improved by the end of the session and on the last page she only asked for help a few times. I reassured her that she was doing very well throughout the session.

In this session, we went over inverse derivatives again and looked into how to find extreme values using first derivative. I showed the student several examples behind the concept of extreme values and also the derivation of this concept. He seems to understand this concept, but he will likely need more practice to fully master it!

Tutoring review by Jennifer in Haddonfield, NJ
The student had an excellent session today. She had a great attitude and was full of positive energy. We started with math facts, and she needs more work in the basic 1-10 addition and subtraction facts. This will be a goal for the upcoming weeks. We continued with reading comprehension passages. She very good on the comprehension questions. We finished with a sight word game, and I was very pleased with her quick recognition of sight words that we reviewed during the summer.

The student and I focused on algebra for this session. She went through her chapter 5 test review and did great on it. I'm confident that she's ready to take her Chapter 5 test. We will focus on Chemistry next time.
