I am not studying or reading for personal enjoyment, I am often either writing or sharing rich conversation. Having specialized in philosophy of art, I have a passion for music and visual art and am enlivened by the artistic culture of Oklahoma City.

I am not working on research, I enjoy playing soccer, art, piano, adventure movies, running races, hanging out with my family and friends, and volunteer work in my community.

I am an award-winning writer with 14 professionally-published stories, and I’m currently working on my third novel. I love to read epic fantasy novels like Lord of the Rings, but I also love any writing that’s well-crafted or makes you think, like Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451 or Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird.

I'm another life long learner. I strive to assist learning in social encounters. Growing up with a family of school teachers and public school professional development figures, I have developed an interest in tutoring, research, and writing. After tutoring for about two years with Upward Bound and years of part time work with the educational development organization ALCA, I am now researching and writing a book on online political discourse, and wish to work improving my ability to help others.

I am enthusiastic about education and I am a nerd for history, politics, and current events. In high school, surprisingly, my favorite subject was math, and I always thought I was going to be a math teacher. College, however, changed my mind when I fell in love with a Colonial History course and it changed my outlook on my future in education.
