Most people try their hardest to practice a task or skill for a multitude of reasons but what I want to get better at is public speaking.I usually hate public speaking I get nervous and scared to mess up even in small environments with classmates. It's a skill that many people find challenging but I want to get over this fear to help me get more comfortable speaking.
One way I want to improve on public speaking is through consistent practice. For example, speeches in front of a mirror or with friends can help me slowly become more comfortable with procrastination and my body language. It also allows me to notice areas where I can improve, such as speaking too fast or avoiding eye contact. Another helpful method is preparing thoroughly. Knowing the topic well can help me reduce anxiety and make it easier to speak naturally.
Additionally, learning to manage my nerves is important to improve taking deep breaths, staying calm, and focusing on the message im trying to send instead of the audience. making a big difference when trying to make experienced speakers feel nervous, but they learn how to control it.
Overall, improving public speaking takes time and dedication. By practicing regularly, preparing effectively, and managing fear, anyone can become a more confident and successful speaker
