I'm Angie! I am a senior at Arizona State University in the Barrett Honors College studying Psychology and Studio Art. I was an honors/AP student throughout high school and have exceeded on AIMS and the SAT. I enjoy working with my students to make sure we are going over material in a way that they can most efficiently learn the material while still enjoying the learning process.

I am a senior at Smith College, where I study mathematics. My past mathematical research has included work with Markov chains, random walks, and combinatorial optimization.

I am a Computer Science major currently enrolled in the Barrett Honor's College at ASU. I went to high school at Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix, AZ. I specialize in most subjects related to math... subjects such as: Algebra (1 & and 2), Honors Pre-Calc, AP Calculus AB, PSAT Mathematics, and SAT Mathematics.

I am very passionate about tutoring. Being in school my whole life, I understand and value the importance of education. When not working on my own studies, I've dedicated much of my time to helping others with theirs. I have tutored at the middle school, high school, community college, and university levels in both one-on-one and group settings. I have done both private tutoring and tutoring for school tutoring centers. I am a certified tutor by the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA), level 2. I taught an accelerated, college-level math course over the summer.

I'm currently finishing my final year at ASU's Honors College with a major in Creative Writing. I've worked in teaching and tutoring positions with everyone from first graders to college students. I just returned from spending my last semester studying in Prague, Czech Republic, travelling extensively and broadening my perspective. I also received the Flinn Scholarship, a prestigious full-ride award given to 20 of the best and brightest students in Arizona out of a pool of nearly 600. I am a student in Barrett the Honors College at Arizona State University studying Business Communications and Pre-Med. My particular academic interests include classic literature, poetry, microbiology, and calculus. I have a good deal of experience tutoring one on one with students ranging in age from Kindergarten through High School. In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, traveling, and drinking coffee!

I am a sophomore at Arizona State University double majoring in Biology (Genetics and Cell Development) and Environmental Science. I have been a tutor for 5 years and swim instructor for 3 years. I have a lot of experience with kids in general, but also with teaching people of all ages and learning styles. I have the most experience with kids of elementary school age, however, I am very well versed in how to teach any age and have the most recent experience with high school and college-level topics. I also have experience working with kids with disabilities, autism and ADHD specifically. I am working towards a Bachelor's in English at ASU after two years at Mesa Community College. I am passionate about English and have a year's experience tutoring Algebra. I aim to provide individualized online instruction to high school students that is centered around their needs and capabilities. My experiences dealing with ADHD allow me to relate to students experiencing similar difficulties and to be a better tutor for them. I believe education is important and that every student is capable of success with a little help. In my free time I enjoy reading nonfiction, experimenting with drawing styles, and sewing.

I'm a college student at ASU studying Finance but I used to be an engineer so I have completed all math classes up to Calculus 3 including differential equations and linear algebra. I just have a passion for mathematics and I love to help others. Hopefully I can get them to not only understand math but also help them find a liking for mathematics.

I find that the best approach to interacting with students is to be friendly, open, and patient. We have all struggled in a subject at some point in our lives, and I hate to see students get flustered or embarrassed when they don't understand a concept. I'm upbeat and enjoy sharing my enthusiasm for what I have learned with the people that I meet.
