I believe that long term learning can be achieved by leveraging personal associations with learning key concepts/data points focused on time and place. By committing these time/place concepts/data to long term memory, we create a context (framework) upon which new concepts/data can more easily and efficiently be integrate and retained.

Learning is a lifetime journey - and you're never too old to embark on a new chapter. Take up painting for fun, a martial art, read a book in a subject you never thought you might be interested. Above all, remember to keep yourself exploring new and different latitudes.

I look for opportunities to build strong basis of students in a particular concept in a straight forward and not confusing way. I like to help them understand a new concept and with everyday homework problems.
