Tutoring review by Aaron in Fort Calhoun, NE
This session he agreed that he would make copies of future homework assignments before turning them in so that we have enough material to review toward the end of the semester. This week we focused on his new homework problems, specifically matching graphs with their equations as well as exponential growth and decay functions. We also tackled word problems using the exponential functions and I feel he now has a strong grasp of all the material from this session.

Tutoring review by Vincent in Fort Calhoun, NE
Today, we looked at an assignment that the student had over quadratic equations. She was not unfamiliar with any of the concepts, but there were certain parts, such as the connection of minima and maxima with whether a function was positive or negative, that she hadn't formally correlated. Once she became aware of how different parts of a quadratic function and its graph corresponded, she was able to complete the assignment with ease. I asked her a few follow-up questions about the relationship between equation and graph to make sure that she was certain about why she used the steps she did in the homework, after which I was confident that she knew why she came to the correct answers.
