I am currently in my second year of medical school. Because of my diverse academic background, I am able to tutor in a wide range of topics, from Economics and math to Russian and ACT prep.

I am very familiar with both the SAT and the ACT and look forward to working with you!
I am also eager to help college students with Algebra and Calculus 1 & 2 topics.
I am a Yale graduate with over 8 years experience tutoring students from a variety of backgrounds. I recently graduated from the Yale School of Public Health with a MPH concentrating in Epidemiology and Global Health. I also received my B.S. from Yale with a double major in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and French. I have experience both leading group classes and working with students one on one. I will respond to a student's strengths, weaknesses, and learning style in order to help them succeed and make the most of our time together. I earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT, 2280 on the SAT, and qualified as a National Merit Scholar on the PSAT. I look forward to working with you!
I'm a recent college graduate with degrees in Biological Sciences and Russian from Ohio University. During my time there, I tutored students in a variety of subjects, including biology, chemistry, and Spanish. In addition, I worked as both a peer advisor and teaching assistant, which gives me insight into the learning strategies and study skills that students need to succeed. As a tutor, I like to focus on doing actual problems with students because it is the most effective way to immediately identify their strengths and weaknesses and to address them. In my free time, I like to lift weights, read books, and spend time with my friends.
I am a rising sophomore at Case Western Reserve University studying engineering. I have taken most high-school level standardized tests, and have scored consistently above the 95th percentile. I have tutored small groups of students throughout high school, and also have experience as a private tutor. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy playing Ultimate Frisbee with my college club team.
I am a 2nd year medical student at Northeast Ohio Medical University and have tutored K-12 and college students over the past 10 years in various subjects ranging from math and science to SAT prep and language arts. My educational background includes an MPA in Development Practice from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, a B.S. in Molecular, Cell, & Developmental Biology, and a B.S. in Mathematics-Economics (both from UCLA). In addition, I have scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT, ACT, and GMAT exams and scored in the 95th percentile on the MCAT. I really enjoy working with students of all ages and backgrounds and believe all students are capable of learning and being successful with the right approach to education. I would love the chance to discuss in more detail what kind of tutoring you or your student is interested in and thank you for your consideration!
I'm entering my senior year at Case Western Reserve University. I'm happy to provide tutoring services for those interested in improving their academic performance or exam preparation. I am a current student at the University of Pennsylvania majoring in English and minoring in journalism and art history. I am very passionate about literature, writing and history, and I love sharing my knowledge and learning new things. In the past few years, I have worked with young children learning to read and high school Latin students, and I also love working with students on improving Standardized Test results. In my spare time, I love reading, music and anything active!
I am currently an undergrad at Vanderbilt University, majoring in Mathematics and Political Science. I have been tutoring students since high school, mostly in science and math. I've found that STEM courses are intimidating to many students, and I hope to get rid of that fear and promote an appreciation for numbers and the sciences. In my tutoring, I focus on helping students understand the concepts beneath the problems, so as to facilitate learning rather than memorization. I strongly believe that every student is capable of reaching a strong level of understanding in any subject, given the correct tools, a teacher who can offer what they need, and some hard work.
I'm currently working as a Research Associate during my gap year before medical school. During my free time, I enjoy staying active, playing golf, swimming, running, and playing tennis. I love exploring new activities and neighborhoods in the NYC area.
I am a rising sophomore at Columbia University in the City of New York, a member of the Ivy League, where I have compiled a track record of academic success across a variety of disciplines including my majors in History and Political Science. I currently maintain a 3.96 GPA, with especially strong success in social science related fields and English courses. I am living in our Writers House next year, a selective, competitive residential space for students interested in a career in writing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Score improvement depends on your starting point and study commitment, but most students see meaningful gains with personalized instruction focused on their specific weaknesses. Many students improve by 5-10 points or more when working with a tutor who identifies gaps in logic games, reading comprehension, or logical reasoning—the three sections that make up the LSAT. The key is targeted practice combined with strategic feedback rather than unfocused studying.
Your first session typically focuses on assessment and planning. A tutor will review your diagnostic test results, understand your target score and law school goals, and identify which sections need the most work—whether that's logic games, reading comprehension, or logical reasoning. From there, you'll build a customized study plan with a realistic timeline and weekly focus areas tailored to your strengths and weaknesses.
Logic games intimidate many test-takers because they require visualizing complex relationships and working through multiple scenarios under time pressure. A tutor can teach you the diagramming systems and strategies that make games manageable, then guide you through timed practice so you build both accuracy and speed. Most students find that with structured instruction and repeated practice, logic games shift from their weakest section to a source of confidence.
Pacing is one of the biggest challenges on the LSAT—you have about 8-9 minutes per logic game, 9 minutes per reading passage, and 1-2 minutes per logical reasoning question. A tutor helps you develop section-specific pacing strategies, such as identifying which games or questions to tackle first based on difficulty, and building timed practice into every study session. With consistent timed drills, pacing becomes automatic rather than something you have to consciously manage during the real test.
Most students benefit from taking 15-20+ full-length practice tests as part of their LSAT prep, spaced throughout their study timeline. Early tests help identify weak areas; later tests build stamina and test-taking confidence under realistic conditions. A tutor helps you use practice tests strategically—reviewing mistakes in depth, adjusting your study focus based on patterns, and taking timed tests at the right intervals so you're peaking on test day.
Reading comprehension on the LSAT isn't just about reading speed—it's about identifying the author's main point, structure, and tone while staying focused under pressure. Tutors teach active reading strategies like annotating key ideas and mapping passage structure, then help you practice with real LSAT passages to internalize the approach. Many students also benefit from learning to predict answer choices before reading them, which sharpens your critical thinking and reduces second-guessing.
Most students prepare for 8-12 weeks, studying 20-35 hours per week depending on their starting score and target. A typical week might include 2-3 tutoring sessions, daily logic games practice, reading comprehension drills, and at least one full-length timed practice test. A tutor helps you structure this time efficiently—focusing on weak areas rather than reviewing material you've already mastered, and adjusting your schedule as test day approaches.
Test anxiety often stems from uncertainty about whether you'll perform under pressure. The best antidote is building genuine confidence through repeated timed practice and mastering test-taking strategies. A tutor helps by normalizing the difficulty of the test, teaching you how to stay calm when you encounter a hard question, and ensuring you've practiced enough that test day feels familiar rather than frightening. Many students also benefit from discussing their anxiety directly with a tutor, who can provide perspective and encouragement.
