I am a person who is very passionate about learning and exploring new opportunities. I have a thirst for knowledge and the more I learn, the happier I become. I want to be able to apply my mathematics skills that I have advanced throughout my University years and help as many people that I can! My dream is to one day get my PhD in Mathematics and become a University Professor and possibly teach in different countries all over the world. Fingers crossed! :)

My experience in education spans multiple formats such as counselor for summer research camps, teaching assistant for college courses, tutor for college courses, and dance instructor. These different positions have pushed me to broaden my perspective on how to communicate with students and address the topics they do not understand. While my educational background has more than prepared me to understand the basics of the science subjects that my students were studying, my goal as an instructor reaches beyond simply teaching the lesson; I also aim to spark my student's interests in the subject and make the lesson fun for them. I know from personal experience that learning any lesson is easier when one is interested and enjoys the learning experience. To that effect, I use concepts and analogies that relate to the students and grab their interests, and this relation may be from other topics or courses they have previously studied or an experience they come across on a daily basis. The latter is especially effective since that daily experience would serve to reinforce the lessons for the students and commit it to memory. These techniques, along with others, work well for tutoring since we often must cover a large amount of information in a relatively short amount of time.

I knew I was a linguist at a young age. I loved to spell and learn the meanings of words in English but that developed to other languages too. Learning Spanish became not just an elective class that I had to take but it became a lifelong learning passion. Growing up in the southwest of the United States, I started learning Spanish at age 9 in the classroom; went on my first student exchange at 10; continued taking Spanish throughout high school and completed a minor in my undergraduate degree. I went on to serve in the Peace Corps in Ecuador and then returned to teach Spanish to high school students as a long-term substitute teacher. I enjoy speaking Spanish and tutoring others to grow to enjoy the language too.

Hey! I'm a a high school graduate headed off to college at Haverford, a top college near Philly. I specialize in both math and writing, often tutoring my friends and volunteering at the writing center. I've taken many dual enrollment math courses at local colleges, including Calculus 1,2, and 3, as well as linear algebra. I also do a lot of test prep, as I've actually taken the SAT 5 times and scored a 1590, so I'm very used to standardized testing. I love helping people, so I hope I can help you!

I am currently pursuing my Masters's degree in Information Security Management from Northeastern University. My strong subjects are Computer Science, Mathematics, English and i am eager to teach these subjects to students to help them reach their full potential.I have work experience in Programming and Software Engineering and have completed professional development certificates in Python and SQL. Programming has always been my strong area (Scored A in UG courses such as Data Structures & Algorithms, Programming for Engineers II).I have prior experience in tutoring Mathematics to middle and high school students.( GRE quantitative score:159)I have done several volunteer internships in blog writing and editing, and have always been a good performer in English language and essay writing during my studies (Scored A in UG subjects such as Communication Skills, Technical Report Writing)

I have my Associates of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education and Care and I am working on my Bachelors of Art in Educational Studies of Elementary Education, while also working on my Masters of Art in Elementary Education. I have been passionate about learning as long as I can remember! That passion has turned into a passion for teaching others! I am a recent graduate from Georgia Institute of Technology and with my degree in an Aerospace Engineering degree with an International Affairs minor. I have worked as a 3-5 classroom teacher, reading interventionist and after school program director for mathematics intervention. Recently I earned my Doctorate from Arizona State University in education with an emphasis in creating social learning opportunities to build students' social and emotional skills in mathematics.I believe that all students are capable of success at all levels of learning. I endeavor to help all of my students develop high levels of academic, social and emotional growth through relationship building, goal setting and celebrating milestones.

To be the best person I can be, while pursuing my dream of medicine and education. I look forward to tutoring the future scientist of the world and hope I can make a positive impact on those I interact with. Being a mentor to as many people as possible is a life goal of mine. I also currently am doing research on honey proteomics in hope to find ways to identify new proteins in honey as a means to detect species of bee and flowers based on honey samples.
