I am a graduate of The University of Northern Colorado where I earned my BSN and a Master's in nursing education. I received a second Master's in Nursing with a focus in Nurse Midwifery. Since graduation, I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings and spent 13 years as a Senior Instructor at the University of Colorado of Nursing. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my dogs, gardening and family time.

I am very passionate about education, and as you can see from my own educational history, I truly love being a student myself. I am a graduate of Cornell University. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration with a minor in Real Estate at the Nolan School in the SC Johnson College of Business.

I am currently a 5th grade teacher in the beautiful state of Arizona. I have worked with Varsity Tutors for over 5 years now, helping a variety of learners meet the needs of their learning. I graduated from Florida State with my Bachelors in Education and I jumped right into teaching here in Phoenix in 2023.

I am diligent in setting deadlines, editing drafts of term papers, and sharing scholarly resources. My mentoring strategy is both nurturing and persistent, probing the students to find their authorial voice and then guiding them in discovering a logical mode of argumentation.

I am tutoring for test prep or for school subjects, my goal is always to inspire, educate, and motivate each student to grow and learn.
