I'm a pre-health student at the University of Pennsylvania, and have an extensive background in the sciences. I can also rock the SATs and MCAT, so I've got that going for me. I love learning with students and trying to make the tedious work of learning as fun as possible. I think and teach in examples and make abstract concepts easily understandable. I also love sports, adventures, travelling!

I am a recent Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, where my studies revolved around applying life science research to health and social studies. I have served as an undergraduate teaching assistant for several courses, and specializes in 1-on-1 tutoring for introductory biochemistry. Biochemistry is my favorite because of how many other disciplines it synthesizes. After achieving a 38 on the MCAT (99.1%), I began mentoring students on test preparation strategies.

I am currently a 4th year medical student at Baylor College of Medicine and previously graduated from Rice University, Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science and Biochemistry & Cell Biology. I am taking time to explore my lifelong interest in teaching. I am a current graduate student at Columbia University in the City of New York. I'm currently a fourth year medical student at a private medical school in Texas. I've been involved with tutoring since middle school continuing all the way through medical school. I am currently working as a medical assistant in dermatology until I start medical school in the fall at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. I have always had a passion for helping others, and one way I could do so was by tutoring students so that they could achieve their full potential. During my time as an undergraduate, I was a part of the Emory Dream Project, a student-run organization that tutored at a local high school. I helped students with their algebra, trigonometry, and pre-calculus coursework. I particularly love tutoring math and physics because there are many different approaches to solving one problem. I am a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University with a major in Behavioral Biology. I am seeking admission to MD/PhD programs so a lot of my time has been spent in the lab, from a computational neuroscience lab at Hopkins to a genome editing lab at Rice.
