Xavier's Purpose by Xavier - August 2025 Scholarship Essay

The word aspirations is a very mild way to describe your goal or purpose, when you aspire for something you hope and dream that one day it becomes a reality, but I want to make mine a reality and to do so I must take one step, one year at a time I have 2 main goals for this upcoming school year and I hope I’m able to convey my motives through these words.

I’m extremely excited for my for my first year of college but also I know that I am there for my education not distraction, I know as incoming Bio major wanting to get into medical school I will research any possible program my school and surrounding offer, I know that too go in and do only 4 years with no connections or work study’s is a waste of time and money, so I want to use my connections with my Aunt Carol to get in contact with a Moderna Pharmaceuticals agent, this is a doorway to can lead me into a potential internship. Amassing this under my belt in combination with hospital work that I plan on will set my experience giving me a leg up in an extremely competitive field. Also I plan on transferring to a feeder school such a FAMU or USF, these institutions have the ability to give me a direct pipeline to different medical schools in the state of FL and out of state as well, and how will I achieve this, I will use this school year as a chance to stand out, to show that I have something that can help people, that I’m capable of anything I set my time and being too

All of these are my aspirations but without motivation to act, nothing would matter. What motivates me is my family but also myself, it sounds very basic, but my family has always expected me to do good things for not only myself but others as well, they know that no matter what path I take in life I will walk it whole-heartly that kind of support everyone needs in life, when you look to quit you need that motivation to keep moving forward. I also motivate myself my aspiration in life is to help people, that’s why the medical field peeks me, that I can really leave my mark on someone and truly help them that is my motivation.
