My Positive Experiences With Technology by Vanessa - November 2025 Scholarship Essay

Technology has started to be implemented in many if not at all schools. A lot of people see many negative things about technology being in classrooms but there are a bunch of positive things technology can do in classrooms. In my experience, technology has impacted my school and experiences in school in positive ways such as, being able to learn more and have another adequate way of learning.
In school, we usually have to understand and learn different things. Technology in classrooms has allowed many students who might not understand a subject to watch or understand from a different person who might understand better. This could be Youtube videos or tutoring websites. In school, we have to do a lot of research on a person, history, subject and other topics. Having technology in school classrooms allows many students to learn new things with research projects or just a search.
Another way technology has been great in classrooms is that technology in classrooms allows teachers to create lesson plans through a computer or online which is a way that we were able to learn everyday. Teachers could have access to the internet through their laptops to do and create lesson plans while at home and not have to stay at school. They also have the ability to learn or research lesson plans for the classroom. Having technology in classrooms allows teachers to make assignments online for the day by using a school website instead of having to print out assignments in paper which helps reduce the use of paper. These are positive ways that technology has had an impact towards teachers as it helped in learning and teaching.
In conclusion, my experiences in technology being in classrooms have allowed me to share the ways technology has positively impacted classrooms by allowing students to learn more and have another adequate way of learning other than without technology. Technology is great in classrooms in many aspects and should be allowed to be implemented in classrooms all around the world.
