Technology is used for a variety of reasons: jobs, entertainment, and most importantly school. Technology has become an incredible tool for school within recent years. Most notably, during the coronavirus pandemic I had to complete school work digitally. Technology allows for easily obtainable sources of information, information to be easily shared with other classmates and teachers, and for easy communication .

Using technology, I can easily research information online. It's far more convenient than researching using books. The wide variety of information online allows me to study concepts more in depth, and to use multiple sources to further understanding. This leads to me being able to complete class work faster, and study more efficiently.

Technology allows for information to be easily shared with other people. This is important when doing collaborative work, I can easily share documents with classmates. This allows for students to do group work separately, and exchange ideas. This is important because it allows collaborative work to be done individually, as well as gives students the opportunity to engage with each other, when outside of school.

Continuing on the last point, technology is a great way to communicate with teachers and students. Outside of school hours sometimes it is necessary to communicate with others, technology is the fastest and most efficient way of doing so. Technology allows me to send and receive information from other students or teachers. This is important because otherwise it would be challenging to communicate to teachers outside of school. This was especially important during the pandemic, where the only form of communication was emailing teachers. Without technology it would have been impossible to communicate with others, and would have greatly hindered my education.

In conclusion, technology is constantly used throughout my education. Without it, it'd be harder to obtain, share, and send information to other students and staff.
