Out of the many skills I could want, I choose to become better at sewing. Most people would say they'd choose to master another language, and say they would practice every day and after that. But honestly it'd be more realistic for me to say sewing. After all as of now im pretty decent at it, I even sell small keychains i've sewed myself. It brings decent money for not sewing lots of them. But I can't complain much since it's one of the things I enjoy doing. Right now i. Actually getting better because my work requires me to see. I got lucky, so I guess it's true when people say you never work a day if you do something you love. It's been helping me improve since then, with back stitching and even using a serger. I've even cut out patterns with paper which is something I usually never do. I mainly sketch on the fabric then cut it out. But I finally got to sew a whole dress. Slowly I improve I study clothes in my own way, and continue by looking at stitching patterns, folds, creases and overlapping stitching. I honestly thought it would be simpler to learn and easy. But looking more into it it's harder to make clothes that are more eye catching then a simple plain shirt. But I like to test myself and use my creativity to my advantage when coming up with new designs. Though difficult I refuse to lose to a sewing machine and I will continue to improve on my sewing until I am satisfied with my own work.
