What I hope to see in Education over the next 10 years? by Logan - September 2025 Scholarship Essay

What I look forward to in Education over the next 10 years is more people focusing on their education to prepare for their future and having their knowledge tested in their courses because what school is doing is preparing future generations for life. And what I hope to see is more people taking their responsibility in school very seriously. What I believe is that School is teaching future generations fundamental knowledge and power to help develop social and emotional learning. What I look forward to in my next school years is for myself to learn to express ideas clearly through writing essays and having great open conversations and be more clear so that people know what I'm saying and for building better personal relationships. In the future I hope students between 9 to 15 years old learn to analyze complex information, evaluate arguments, and make evidence-based judgments which would help them navigating challenges in any career and making important life decisions. Also what I hope to see is students completing assignments, studying for exams, and balancing academic work with extracurriculars forces students to manage their time effectively and meet deadlines. Lastly, I hope to see teachers encouraging students to ask for help, speak up in class, and take on leadership roles, to assist the confidence and self-advocacy skills needed to tackle real-world responsibilities and pursue ambitious goals. In conclusion, I hope over the next 10 years Education takes on a huge impact to prepare future generations of children for the world. Because you never may know what the future may hold.
