My Goals and Aspirations by Lily - August 2025 Scholarship Essay

I have many aspirations this upcoming school year considering it is my final year and I am now becoming a senior. I want to focus on school and maintaining good grades so that I can get into the college I want. I want to focus on all my college applications, making sure they are filled out to the best of my ability. I also want to continue studying and putting in effort for the ACT in order to get a good score. Lastly, I want to make the most out of my final year in high school and not only focus on studying and maintaining good grades, but also enjoying the time I have with the people around me I have grown up with in my life.
My main motivation which helps me to achieve these aspirations is getting into my dream college. In order to get into my dream college, I need to maintain good grades, have good test scores, and a thorough application. Thinking about going off to college can be scary to think about, but also is exciting because it is a preview for what the future will bring me. I want to be successful and have a good job outside of college which also motivates me to work harder. Overall I want to obtain these aspirations and I will motivate myself as much as I possibly can to achieve my dreams and have a good future.
