One skill I hope to master in the next few years is leadership. As someone who wants to work in the medical field as a Physician Assistant, I know leadership is important. It helps you make good decisions, support others, and stay calm under pressure. I have already started building this skill, but I want to continue improving it as I grow.

Being a captain of my high school football team has given me a strong start. I have learned how to communicate with my teammates, encourage them, and set a good example. However, I know leadership is more than just giving directions. It also means listening, understanding different perspectives, and helping others succeed. These are the areas I want to improve the most.

To develop my leadership skills, I plan to stay involved in activities that challenge me. I will continue playing football and taking on responsibilities where I can guide others. I also plan to join clubs or programs that focus on teamwork and service. These experiences will help me practice working with different people and handling real-life situations.

Another way I plan to grow is by learning from others. I will pay attention to coaches, teachers, and mentors who show strong leadership. By observing how they act and make decisions, I can apply those lessons to my own life. I also want to ask for feedback so I can understand what I am doing well and what I need to improve.

In addition, I will work on my communication skills. Clear communication is a big part of being a good leader. I want to become more confident when speaking and better at expressing my ideas. This will help me in school, sports, and my future career in healthcare.
